Sidma’s Photovoltaic System – Sustainable Energy for the Future

In its pursuit of energy efficiency and sustainable development, Sidma has successfully implemented a large-scale 450 kWp photovoltaic system, entirely installed on the company’s rooftop.

Technical Specifications and Performance

The system comprises 1,092 monocrystalline panels SOLAR FABRIK S4 MONO HALFCUT 415W, combined with HUAWEI inverters (4 x SUN2000-100KTL-M2 and 1 x SUN2000-50KTL-M3). The expected annual electricity generation is 494,235 kWh, covering 80% of the company’s total consumption. Thanks to this, the return on investment is estimated at only 5 years.

Environmental and Economic Benefits

In addition to significant financial savings, the photovoltaic plant contributes to reducing the carbon footprint – 34.6 tons of CO₂ emissions saved annually, which is equivalent to planting 48 trees per year. This demonstrates Sidma’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.

Challenges and Implementation

The installation process took a year and a half, with the main challenge being administrative procedures for commissioning the plant. Nevertheless, with the expertise of Ataro Clima, the project was successfully completed and is now fully operational.

Future Perspectives

The company is already selling surplus electricity, and future plans include expanding the system to achieve even greater energy independence.

This project marks another step toward sustainable and efficient production, as Sidma continues to invest in innovation and green technologies.
